Waking up

My dearest one,

Waking up this morning... only one thought in my mind... YOU!

I spent all night dreaming about you, about being together, trying to stay apart, but yearning to join our hearts, join our lives!

It has not been that long since I said that I would never visit you again, that I would never make the trip to be with you. That if you want, you can come, you can visit, you can have me. And a few weeks ago, I dreamt of you seeking me, something that perhaps will never happen!

Waking up on my empty bed, I desire to wake up next to you.

Desire... desire... perhaps it is only that... the desire to be one! 

We both know that our definitions of love, especially romantic love, diverge! According to my definitions, romantic love is a waste of time, and love, real love, is unconditional... just like expressed by Hafiz's poem "The Sun Never Says", and arranged for choir by Daniel Ladinsky

It looks like the time will pass, apart from each other, and my love will continue the same... I love you!
